MW3 Zombies Mercenary Convoy Location, MWZ Interceptor

MW3 Zombies is a new game mode in Call of Duty, which merges the aesthetic and gear of traditional Zombies with the missions structure and massive maps of DMZ. The main Tier 1 MWZ mission is called Interceptor, which you unlock after completing all six base Tier 1 missions. However, it seems that there’s currently a bug with the Mercenary Stronghold Keycard, where the game won’t count progress. Read on as we explain all you need to know.

Where to Find Mercenary Convoy Location in MW3 Zombies Interceptor Mission

The very first thing about the Mercenary Convoy location in MW3 Zombies is that you need to go to the second “orange” area of the map. Hence, keep in mind that this zone is much harder and will pose a challenge. Therefore, be well geared up and prepared to deal with any trouble. The second thing you need to know is that destroying a convoy is not an easy task. Thus, doing it solo will be very difficult, and so we advise doing it with a proper squad. With that out of the way, let’s check out where t find and destroy the Mercenary Convoy in MWZ.

As the name suggests, the Mercenary Convoy doesn’t have a stationary position. Rather it moves around the map in circles. You will not be able to see it on the Tac Map until you approach close enough. The most important thing to know is that the Mercenary Convoy is patrolling the highway in a circle around the city. They are travelling clockwise. Hence, the best way to intercept them is by taking a ride and going counterclockwise on the highway. This will inevitably lead to an encounter with the convoy. You will recognise them as six armoured vehicles on the map and in front of you.

Bugged Mercenary Stronghold Keycard Doesn’t Count For Interceptor Mission

Once you destroy the Mercenary Convoy, stay around for a little bit more. Make sure to carefully loot every downed mercenary from the convoy. One of them – The Sergeant – will drop the Mercenary Stronghold Keycard for the Interceptor mission completion. However, some players report that “Collect a Stronghold Keycard dropped by Mercenary Convoy” task won’t count. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have a solution for this bug. The only thing you can do is to try again.
