Woman Stabbed On Metro Train In DC; Heavy-Set Suspect At Large (Developing)
Shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, Metro Transit Police Department officers responded to a reported assault on a train at the station on 14th Street in Northwest DC.
One person suffered a stab wound and was taken to an area hospital by paramedics to treatment and evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
Police described the suspect as being heavy set with glasses who was last seen leaving the Columbia Heights Metro station. No additional descriptive information was provided by investigators.
