Shattered Glass Closes Popular Lehigh Valley Pool For 10 Days

Cedar Beach Pool in Allentown was kept closed for two hours on Sunday for clean-up, but more glass was discovered in the pool on Tuesday, according to a city news release.

The pool will be closed for at least 10 days to drain the pool, clean up glass and re-fill the pool. 

"The Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation regrets the inconvenience however, every effort will be made to re-open the pool as soon as possible," the release reads.

The city’s Mack Pool remains open.
