Shane McMahon is an American-born professional wrestler, businessman and television personality. He is one of the owners of the largest professional wrestling media company, WWE, among several other business interests. He is the story curator of WWE TV’s weekly SmackDown Live.

A 4th generation member of the McMahon dynasty of Teenagers, Shane McMahon began working in the WWE Corporation’s Merchandise Warehouse. He also served as a referee, announcer, and producer before eventually becoming an on-screen performer. As a professional wrestler, Shane McMahon won the European Championship title and the Hardcore Championship title. He resigned from WWE in January 2010, but returned to the company in February 2016 as an on-screen character.
