Chester, Pennsylvania — The quickest guy on a soccer field near Philadelphia Wednesday night had four feet instead of two.

A racoon wandered onto the pitch at Subaru Park, where the Philadelphia Union faced New York City FC.

The furry intruder was spotted about 20 minutes after the opening kick.

Staff and players soon found out “you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him,” and after some very entertaining moments, that finally happened.

Someone used a trash can to corral the pitch invader and he was taken to safety.

We don't know if the racoon was shown a red card.
