PA man arrested after being caught dismembering girlfriend's body
Philadelphia, PA (CNN) — Police in Pennsylvania say they arrested a man while he was dismembering his girlfriend.
Police responded to a domestic call at an apartment complex in Clifton Heights on Friday.
When they went to the back of the home and looked inside, authorities say they found Nicholas Scurria dismembering a woman's head.
They took the 32-year-old into custody and reported finding several weapons inside of the home, including a machete.
Scurria faces several charges including first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
They say the officers at the scene will be offered counseling.
