Police, Game Commission investigating alleged video of teen strangling duck in Cambria Co.
Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the West Hills Regional Police Department confirmed to 6 News that they are investigating an alleged video that appears to show a teenage boy strangling and killing a duck in Cambria County.
The video, which appeared on Snapchat over the weekend, before circulating on social media, allegedly shows the teen yelling at the duck to "stop making noise" before a hand is seen grabbing the animal by its neck and shaking it.
The video then ends with a picture of what appears to be the same duck decapitated.
Police have not identified the teen shown in the video but say that they are investigating the incident in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer also confirmed that his office is aware of the incident but says that he cannot provide further comment at this time due to the incident involving a possible juvenile.
6 News has viewed the video and determined that it is too graphic to share in any form.
