It is a neat and balanced mechanic, forcing players to balance the usage of its charges. However, there is a way to have more of these! What you need to do is to use Quartz for specific perks. Namely, what you need to do is to invest enough Quartz into the “P-Organ” perk. This will unlock two additional Pulse Cells very early in the game. Here’s how to do it:

• Finish the Phase 2 P-Organ “Increase Pulse Cells 2” perk.
• Use “Increase Pulse Cells 3” (Level 3 Survival Type upgrade) to any P-Organ perk.

• Use “Increase Pulse Cells 5” (Level 3 Survival Type upgrade) to any P-Organ perk.

With this method, you will increase the number of Pulse Cells to three total. However, you can have even more! There is a total of 10 Pulse Cells cap in the game.
