Gala Benefits Cardiac Services At Greenwich Hospital
Community leaders, celebrity guests and longtime hospital supporters will be among the 350 event attendees.
At the gala, Dr. James R. Sabetta, director of infectious diseases, internal medicine and assistant chief of staff, will receive the President’s Award for his many years of dedicated service to the hospital and his outstanding achievement and commitment to his patients.
As assistant chief of staff, Sabetta plays an integral role in helping to shape all divisions of medical services at the hospital, according to a release from Greenwich Hospital.
“Dr. Sabetta’s expertise in his field is unparalleled, and the infectious disease section at Greenwich Hospital was built under his leadership," said Norman G. Roth, president of Greenwich Hospital. "Today, it is one of the most comprehensive programs for inpatient and outpatient care of all infectious diseases."
Gala chairwomen Gretchen Bylow, Dr. Kim Nichols and Jennifer Seidel selected a Parisian cabaret theme for this year’s décor. With the help of a committee of volunteers, they are planning a black tie evening of elegance and surprise that will include silent, live and fine wine auctions with entertainment by the Starlight Orchestra.
