Felon Who Shot Into Virginia Apartment Nabbed By US Marshals In New Jersey: Police
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office last week asked the public to help them locate Angad S. Siviam, 30, of Leesburg. He had been missing since May 31.
Sivia had visited an apartment complex in Ashburn on Omeara Terrace early that morning when he got into an argument with some of the residents, deputies said.
That ended when he fired several bullets into the building and ran away, the Sheriff's Office said. No one was injured.
Deputies said he left the area soon after the shooting.
Investigators tracked him down to a house in Iselin, New Jersey, and that's where agents with the U.S. Marshal Service arrested him earlier this week, the Sheriff's Office said.
He will be charged with two counts of discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, attempted malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
It's unclear when police will bring him back to Virginia.
