Debbie Wahlberg is the sister of Mark Wahlberg but rose to fame for reasons that hurt the Wahlberg family. The whole family was well known, mainly for their reality TV show called The Wahlburgers. Debbie Wahlberg was born Deborah Ellen Wahlberg on July 8, 1960, in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Her parents are Donald Wahlberg, who was a delivery boy, and Alma Wahlberg, who was a bank clerk. Her mother also worked as a nurse’s aide to support the family. Unfortunately for Debbie, her parents separated from her in 1982 and it was not easy for her and her 8 siblings in the early stages of her lives.
Looking more at his family, Donald, his father started out as an actor who became famous for the movie Southie. He also served in the military during the Korean War. According to reports, he passed away on February 14, 2008.
Debbie Wahlberg: Death
Debbie passed away on September 2, 2003 when she was only 43 years old. While it started out as a beautiful day after Mark welcomed her first child, her sister lost her life and it became more shocking to him in particular. Mark describes it as the best and worst day of his life after hearing the news of Debbie’s death after the birth of her daughter Ella Rae.
To our knowledge, Debbie was undergoing treatment for kidney stones in Boston. However, she suffered a heart attack after a septic shock that caused an infection in her bloodstream.
