Chris Goldsmith Named President At Belly Up Entertainment

SOLANA BEACH, CA (CelebrityAccess) – The Belly Up announced today that long-time consultant Chris Goldsmith has been named president of Belly Up Entertainment. A multiple Grammy Award-winning producer and former booking agent for The Rosebud Agency, Goldsmith will oversee all music-related operations, along with Belly Up owners Steve Goldberg and Phil Berkovitz and talent buyers Pete McDevitt and Chad Waldorf.

The Belly Up, a historic concert venue located in Solana Beach, CA, has been host to countless legendary concerts over its 43-year history, including The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, The Black Eyed Peas, Jimmy Buffet, Green Day (as Foxboro Hot Tubs), Etta James, BB King and Hunter S Thompson.

In addition to the iconic beachside venue, Belly Up Entertainment also books and promotes dozens of concerts, festivals and private events locally and around the country including at The Del Mar Racetrack, The San Diego Fair, The Dew Tour (Long Beach/Breckenridge) and Rock and Roll Marathons nationwide. The company also has its own record label, Belly Up Live, produces Belly Up Podcasts and Live at the Belly Up, broadcast weekly on KPBS, the local Public Television affiliate.
