Actress and singer Jacqueline Chantal Fernández Andere, better known as Chantal Andere , was born on January 25, 1972 in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the daughter of the renowned actress Jacqueline Andere and the film director José María Fernández Unsáin, so from a very young age she was in contact with the medium of entertainment. In 1988 she made her television debut in the telenovela Dulce Challenge , two years later she performed A Face in My Past and in 1991 she starred in Madres Egoticos . In 1990, Ella Chantal began her career as a singer with the album ‘Regresa’, in 1992 she released her second album ‘Chantal’ and in 1995 her third, and last, ‘Tentaciones’. She acted in various plays such as The Shrew Taken , Víctor Victoria , Cabaret and Amor sin Barreras . She has made telenovelas such as La Usurpadora, Los relatives poor, Marimar and Sortilegio, among many others. Among her most recent projects are the television series You had to be you and El Bienamado. She was first married to Roberto Gómez Fernández, son of “Chespirito” and in 2008 she married Enrique Rivero Lake, with whom she now has two children.
