Bubble car owned and restored by late Sir Stirling Moss up for sale for 60,000
A BUBBLE car restored by the late Sir Stirling Moss is up for sale.
The F1 racing great taught son Elliot, now 42, to drive in the 1957 BMW Isetta 600, which he rebuilt in the 1990s.
Sir Stirling, who died two years ago aged 90, also nipped around London in the tiny motor.
The Isetta has a guide price of £60,000.
Also for sale is Sir Stirling’s 1965 E-Type Roadster which he drove in a rally from the Isle of Man to Silverstone, Northants.
It has a guide price of £160,000 at Silverstone Auctions in Ashorne, Warks, next month.

Silverstone Auctions said: “Yes, Sir Stirling Moss actually owned a BMW Isetta 600.
“It was his car for nipping around in London."
